On 2 July a shameful thing happened for Pakistan and Turkey that the US listed them in the Child Soldiers Prevention Act (CSPA) which identifies foreign governments having government-supported armed groups that recruit or use child soldiers, a designation that could result in restrictions on certain security assistance and commercial licensing of military equipment. The US Child Soldiers Prevention Act (CSPA) requires publication in the annual Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report a list of foreign governments that have recruited or used child soldiers during the previous year (April 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021). Afghanistan, Myanmar, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen also listed in the (CSPA) list and now America will impose Sanctions on these countries

What Turkey is doing
The US State Department determined in its 2021 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) that Turkey was providing "tangible support" to the Sultan Murad Division in Syria, a faction of the Syrian opposition that Ankara has long, supported and a group that Washington said recruited and used child soldiers.
What Pakistan is doing
The Taliban recruits child soldiers from its madrassas in Afghanistan and Pakistan that provide military training and religious indoctrination, and it sometimes provides families cash payments or protection in exchange for sending their children to these schools. Armed groups target children from impoverished and rural areas, particularly those under Taliban control.
