(LOMADS) ly 80 stands for low to medium altitude Air Defence system which capable to intercept aerial flying targets at low to medium altitude. According to some reports, china tries to sell this poor quality air defence system to some African countries and some South Asian countries but this system was rejected by African countries and even Myanmar and Bangladesh due to poor quality. In 2014 Pakistan purchase this system for 373 million dollars and Pakistan is the only country that operates this poor system
This is not only one case Many, Chinese airplanes, UAVs, and naval ships are reported not working
